WorkLife Central is run by a team of working parents, the majority with corporate backgrounds, who are passionate about the support and resources they deliver to parents and professionals in corporate roles. WorkLife Central Ltd is owned by Louisa Symington-Mills (CEO and Founder).
At WorkLife Central we all work fully flexibly; part-time, remotely and predominantly term-time only. If you'd like to get in touch, we'd be delighted to hear from you and welcome all feedback.

Live/On Demand Programme:
Fran Murrells, Director - Head of Content. Contact Fran for queries about our Live events (webinars/seminars/support groups), On Demand programme, content plan and expert speakers.
Fran has a passion for high quality events, with over 17 years event management experience working across financial services, education and advertising. Fran joined WorkLife Central in September 2018 and was instrumental in the launch of our webinar programme in March 2019. Fran now oversees our Live and On Demand programmes, including selecting and scheduling all our Live Events, Videos and Shorts.

Jemma joined WorkLife Central in April 2021 as Webinar Coordinator, for the delivery of our Live and On Demand programme of events. She has over 12 years’ experience organising conferences and exhibitions in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Africa, in sectors including energy, environment, infrastructure, finance, technology, retail, broadcast and education. Jemma is married with two young children.

Anna joined WorkLife Central in May 2019 becoming Director - Head of Brand, Communications & Marketing in November 2022. Previously, she spent 15 years working in PR and Communications, first in a WPP PR agency where she specialised in the Technology sector and then within the Brand, Communications and Marketing team at an international law firm. Anna lives in the Essex countryside with her husband and two children.

Vicky joined WorkLife Central in December 2021 becoming Communications & Social Media Manager in November 2022. She has over 18 years experience in Client Services and Office Management, working for large financial institutions in both London and Dublin, and more recently in the construction sector. Vicky lives in Chelmsford, Essex with her husband and their twin daughters.

Owen King, Business Support Coordinator.
Owen joined WorkLife Central in September 2023 as Team Coordinator after spending the last two years as a summer intern. Owen is working alongside studying Economics & Philosophy at the University of Manchester, where he is staying during term time. He is growing into the role, becoming familiar with the internal functions of the company and gaining valuable experience along the way.
Hannah Townsend, Website & Digital Experience Manager.
Hannah joined WorkLife Central in October 2022, becoming the Website & Digital Experience Manager in October 2023. She has over 15 years experience in the events industry; most recently as the Creative Digital Lead within the theatre industry. With a background in full stack development, her experience in the digital field ranges from UX design and development through to content, graphic design and video editing. She lives by the seaside in Suffolk with her partner and three children.
Christy Chown, Client Relationship Manager. Contact Christy for corporate member support including subscriptions/renewals, usage requests, programme updates and any other corporate member queries.
Christy joined WorkLife Central in November 2019, becoming Client Relationship Manager in December 2021. She has over 10 years experience working alongside Directors of international corporate companies as well as within the charity sector. Originally from New Zealand, Christy now lives in Devon with her husband and three young boys.

Louisa oversees all aspects of WorkLife Central Ltd's activities and founded the organisation - originally known as Citymothers, and subsequently Cityparents - in November 2012. For 10 years Louisa pursued a busy career in banking and finance as a top-3 Extel-ranked sell-side analyst covering listed alternative investment funds at Royal Bank of Scotland and then Jefferies, following the sale of RBS Hoare Govett. She subsequently became Chief Operating Officer at LPEQ (www.LPEQ.com), an international association of listed private equity companies. Louisa now holds an Independent Non Executive Director position at an LSE-listed private equity company. Louisa is married with two young children aged ten and eight.
